Using Images in Context-Aware Recommender Systems

چکیده
In this paper, we propose a unified probabilistic framework for product recommendation which uses both images and user’s contextual situation to predict accurately the ratings. In addition, this framework suggests highly rated and diversified products to reach better user satisfactions in conformance with researches in consumer psychology. Experimental results show that images improve the usefulness of recommendation comparatively with state-of-art methods.
